The trip
Seoul, then the KTX to a port city of painted hillsides, a bamboo forest and a long beach.
Busan is the other Korea: a port city built up the sides of hills, with a beach at the end of the metro line and a mosque of its own. Getting there is part of it, on the KTX bullet train from Seoul. The first three days are the capital at its best, ending at the Seoul Central Mosque and a Nanta performance. Then south, to Gamcheon Culture Village, a hillside of houses painted every colour and stacked like a staircase, and BIFF Square where the film festival happens. The second Busan day takes in the Ahopsan bamboo forest, the Busan Mosque, Haeundae Beach and the Museum One. On the last morning there is Songdo Beach and its marine cable car before the train back north. Every lunch and dinner is included and booked in advance.
Busan has its own mosque, its own beach and its own bamboo forest. It is the reason to go past Seoul.

Met at Incheon and taken directly to Nami Island, then the Gangchon Rail Park, before checking in at the Seoul hotel in the evening.

Gyeongbokgung Palace wearing a hanbok, then the Seoul Central Mosque at Itaewon, the Hongdae student quarter, and a cruise from Yeouido Han River Park.

Namdaemun market, the round-trip cable car and observatory at N Seoul Tower, Myeongdong for the afternoon, and a Nanta performance in the evening.

The bullet train south
Check out and take the KTX to Busan station. On arrival, Gamcheon Culture Village, a hillside of painted houses stacked in terraces, and BIFF Square.

Bamboo, mosque, beach
The Ahopsan bamboo forest in the morning, then the Busan Mosque, Haeundae Beach for the afternoon, and the Museum One.

Songdo Beach and the marine cable car strung out over the water, then the KTX back to Seoul station and a final night in the capital.
